About Page FAQs

  • Will you use a pre-built theme for my website?

At GDN, we’ve moved away from pre-built themes in favor of custom website development using W3C standards. Here’s why:

    • Performance & Speed: Pre-built themes can be loaded with unnecessary code, slowing down your website and potentially impacting search engine rankings and user experience.
    • Flexibility & Scalability: Custom development allows us to create a website that perfectly aligns with your unique needs and can easily adapt as your business grows.
    • SEO Optimization: We prioritize clean code structure and best practices recommended by W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) to ensure your website is search engine friendly.
    • Stand-Out Design: With custom development, you get a website that’s one-of-a-kind, reflecting your brand identity and standing out from competitors who use generic themes.

In short, we believe custom development using W3C standards offers a more performant, scalable, and search-engine-friendly foundation for your website. However, if you have a specific question or require further clarification, don’t hesitate to contact us!

Referral Page FAQs

  • What types of projects are eligible?

We welcome referrals for any website design and development project. Take a look at our portfolio page at https://gdnwebmedia.com/portfolio to see some of the work we have done.

  • Do I need to sign up for anything?

Yes, Please fill out the Referral Application Form so we can collect basic information about you, like your name, email, where we send the check, etc.

After that, begin referring and just let your friend know to mention you during the discovery call so we can apply to add this project to your account.

  • How do I assign a project to my referral account?

To ensure your referral reward, there are two ways to connect your account to a potential project:

    1. Mention your name during the discovery call. Encourage your referral to let us know you referred them during their initial phone consultation.
    2. Email us before the project begins. If your referral hasn’t mentioned you yet, simply notify us via email that a client will reach out for a quote based on your recommendation.

Please note, that referral fees cannot be claimed after the project has begun or the discovery call has ended. It’s important to let us know early on so we can track it properly.

  • When will I receive my commission?

You’ll receive your commission within 30 days of the launch of the referred website.

  • What if I refer you to a client signing for a $50,000 project?

Congratulations, you just made $5,000 in commission.
