GDN Web Media collaborated closely with the Funky VA Math team to shape a clear and scalable foundation for the brand’s evolving mission. Here’s what we did:

• Discovery & Communication: Met regularly with the founder to understand the vision, tone, and target audience—veterans and their families seeking trusted guidance.
• Content Strategy: Organized years of content into clearly defined sections—Magazine, Resources, Newsletter, About, and Contact—making it easier for users to engage with information at their own pace.
• Design & Branding: Created a clean, modern design with strong visual hierarchy, clear calls-to-action, and intentional use of color and typography inspired by their excellent magazine.
• Future-Proof Development: Built the site on a flexible structure that allows for easy expansion, especially as new modules and issues of the For The Veteran | By The Veteran magazine are released.
• Launch & Ongoing Maintenance: Coordinated the website relaunch with the national magazine release and continues to provide performance optimization, content updates, and technical support.

The new Funky VA Math website offers a dramatically improved user experience, with simplified navigation, mobile responsiveness, and a trustworthy, mission-driven design. The relaunch coincided with the release of SURVIVOR—the first issue of the print magazine—creating a unified, cross-platform experience that amplifies the brand’s reach and impact.

Veterans now have a go-to digital home where they can access resources, read real stories, subscribe to helpful updates, and feel seen, supported, and empowered.
